Itinerary

Your Moroccan adventure begins in Casablanca. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace, perhaps stroll along the Corniche, visit the Hassan II Mosque, or simply relax and prepare for the journey ahead.

Begin your day in Casablanca with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the second-largest in the world and one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslims.

From here, travel to Meknes to discover the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the final resting place of the powerful 17th-century sultan.

Continue your journey to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, where a local guide will bring the ruins to life with stories of its glorious past. Pause along the way for a scenic picnic of fresh bread, cheese, fruits, and olives.

In the afternoon, arrive in Fes and settle into your traditional riad, an oasis of calm in the heart of the medina, where you’ll stay for two nights.

Today, you’ll explore Fes el Bali, the city’s ancient medina, alongside your local guide. As you weave through its labyrinth of narrow streets, it feels like stepping back into the Middle Ages... donkeys carrying goods, historic caravanserais, and stalls filled with the rich aromas of spices.

Pause at a charming family-run tea house, where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of traditional mint tea, offering a peaceful break from the bustling streets.

Fes, once a thriving center of culture and education, is home to some of Morocco’s most prestigious religious schools and mosques. You’ll visit the ornate El-Attarine Madrasa, with its exquisite tilework and carved wood details, and the elegant Funduq al-Najjarin, an 18th-century inn that stands as a masterpiece of Moroccan architecture.

Today, you’ll leave behind the bustle of the city and make your way to Erfoud, a desert gateway town nestled on the edge of the Sahara. It’s a long but rewarding journey, with plenty of opportunities to admire Morocco’s ever-changing scenery along the way.

As you drive, watch the landscape transform, olive groves and shepherds’ flocks give way to forests of cedar, pine, and oak, before opening into wide valleys lined with swaying date palms, all framed by the rugged backdrop of the High Atlas Mountains.

By the time you arrive in Erfoud, you’ll notice how its red-sand architecture, built during the French colonial era, blends beautifully with the desert surroundings. Before settling in, treat yourself to fresh local dates from the market, so sweet and renowned that Erfoud hosts an annual festival in their honor.

From Erfoud, begin your journey deeper into the desert, heading toward the breathtaking Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga. Along the way, the landscape gradually changes: rocky plains give way to rolling golden sands that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Upon arrival, prepare for a classic desert experience by switching from your vehicle to camelback. Ride through the shifting dunes, feeling the quiet vastness of the Sahara and admiring the play of light and shadow on the sand as the sun begins to lower.

Your camel trek leads to a desert camp, where traditional Berber hospitality combines with comfort. As evening falls, watch the dunes glow in warm reds and golds, and settle in for a magical night under a sky filled with countless stars, far removed from the bustle of modern life.

Embark on an unforgettable morning camel trek across the desert at sunrise. As the sun rises, the shifting sands come alive in mesmerizing shades of orange and gold, creating a magical start to the day.
After a hearty breakfast, continue your journey to the Todra Gorge, a colossal canyon with cliffs soaring over 250 meters. Walk along its base and take in one of Morocco’s most breathtaking natural vistas, where the cool mountain breeze adds to the awe-inspiring scenery.
Next, venture to Skoura, a historic oasis adorned with sprawling palm groves and mudbrick kasbahs that tell stories of centuries past. Your evening concludes at an exceptional ecolodge, featuring charming rammed-earth bungalows, sustainable water systems, and lush organic gardens that supply the fresh, flavorful meals served on-site.

Step into the dappled shade of ancient palm groves, where time seems to slow to a gentle whisper. Today, you’ll wander through this lush oasis, accompanied by the rhythmic rustle of palm leaves and the guidance of your expert leader.
Learn the secrets of traditional date farming, discovering how centuries of knowledge have shaped life in these verdant lands. As you explore, picture the echoes of the past... the same courtyards where goats once roamed and the centuries-old olive oil press that still stands as a symbol of resilience.
Your journey leads to Kasbah Amridil, a 17th-century fortified residence preserved by the family who built it. Step inside to glimpse life as it was 300 years ago, surrounded by history and bathed in the warm Moroccan sun. Few places rival this serene haven for peaceful afternoons spent soaking in the culture and landscape.

mbark on a scenic journey from Skoura to Aït Benhaddou, an ancient hilltop settlement that has remained remarkably preserved since the 11th century. Its iconic kasbah, a masterpiece of clay architecture, has served as the backdrop for films such as Lawrence of Arabia, Game of Thrones, and Gladiator. Wander through the historic Old Town and ascend the hill for breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.

Pause for a delightful lunch at Tawesna, a riverside teahouse run by the local community. Here, enjoy freshly baked Amazigh bread, hearty soups, Moroccan sweets, and refreshing mint tea. The teahouse not only offers authentic flavors but also supports local women, providing them with a sustainable source of income.

After lunch, explore Taman’Art Space, an art studio and cultural center founded by a local artist. Surrounded by stunning vistas, this creative haven offers a glimpse into the vibrant artistic and cultural spirit of the region, making your visit both inspiring and memorable.

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore the charming village of Imlil and its scenic surroundings.
Embark on a leisurely walk, designed to last no more than three hours and tailored to the group’s pace and interests. As you wander, soak in the gentle rhythm of village life, the locals going about their morning routines, children playing, and the aroma of traditional bread baking in communal ovens.
Marvel at the timeless beauty of the Atlas Mountains, with their rugged peaks and serene valleys framing every step. This journey offers a unique opportunity to connect with both nature and the heart of the Berber community, leaving you with lasting memories of Morocco’s rich cultural and natural heritage.

After breakfast, embark on a sensory journey to Marrakech, the vibrant heart of Morocco. A knowledgeable local guide will bring the city to life, sharing stories of its ancient magic as you wander through the bustling medina and colorful souks.

Discover hidden courtyards perfumed with orange blossoms and step into the opulent Bahia Palace, marveling at its intricate decoration and architecture. Pause at the Koutoubia Mosque, whose iconic minaret dominates the skyline, while its inner sanctum remains reserved for worshippers.

Complete your exploration with a visit to Djemaa el-Fna, the city’s lively central square. Here, treat yourself to the sun-kissed sweetness of freshly squeezed orange juice, a refreshing taste of Marrakech that delights the senses.

Today is free to explore Marrakech at your own pace. You might wander through Le Jardin Secret, a beautifully restored traditional garden featuring a serene courtyard and intricate Moroccan architecture.

Alternatively, return to the medina to soak up the bustling atmosphere and practice your haggling skills at the colorful souks.

For your final evening, consider joining your group for a farewell dinner. Your guide can recommend some of the city’s best local restaurants, offering an authentic taste of Moroccan cuisine to cap off your journey.

After breakfast, head to Essaouira, a coastal gem where the medina meets the Atlantic. Spend the next two nights exploring at your own pace, wandering its charming streets, colorful markets, and vibrant harbor.

Select fresh seafood at the fish market and have it grilled at a local restaurant, paired with fresh salads from nearby vendors. Enjoy your evenings freely, soaking in the laid-back charm, hidden corners, and stunning sunsets that make Essaouira unforgettable.

Day 13 :
Essaouira

Essaouira welcomes you to explore at your own pace, where the coastal breeze carries the scent of the Atlantic and spices from the markets. Wander through its charming medina streets, discover artisan workshops, and admire the intricate woodwork and vibrant colors that fill every corner. Each alley offers a new story and hidden detail to enjoy.

Head toward the lively harbor, where colorful fishing boats gently rock on the water. Browse the fish and produce stalls, pick your favorite catch, and have it prepared at a nearby restaurant for a fresh, local meal. The vibrant market life gives a genuine glimpse into the rhythm of Essaouira’s daily life.

For nature lovers, the nearby beaches and dunes provide perfect spots to relax, walk, or ride horses along the shore. Whether exploring, sampling local flavors, or simply soaking in the ocean views, Essaouira offers a freedom-filled day of culture, scenery, and seaside charm.

The morning is yours to enjoy Essaouira at your own pace. Stroll through the vibrant streets and browse local handicrafts, from hand-carved woodwork to colorful textiles. In the afternoon, set off for your drive back to Marrakech, taking in the changing landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and refresh before stepping out to experience the city once more.

As evening falls, the lively Djemaa el-Fna square awaits.
