Your private day trip begins at 8:30 AM with pickup from your hotel or the nearest accessible point to your riad in Marrakech. Travel in an air-conditioned minibus for the scenic three-hour drive north through the Tadla plains, passing olive groves, peach trees and apricot orchards.
At Ouzoud, follow the path to the base of the falls with the local guide included in your trip. The waterfalls drop about 110 metres. The walk includes slopes and steps, so wear sturdy shoes and follow your guide’s instructions.
Look out for Barbary macaques in the area and observe them from a respectful distance. Please do not feed or touch the monkeys; this helps keep visitors and wildlife safe.
Enjoy the lunch included in your trip, with time to take in the riverside setting. A boat ride near the cascades is also included, subject to local operating conditions. After your visit, hike back to the village where your driver will be waiting.
Return to Marrakech by early evening, usually around 7–8 PM. Your driver will drop you at your hotel or riad, depending on access.
