We’ll pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech bright and early at 7:00 AM to begin an unforgettable road trip. Your route takes you through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tichka Pass, where dramatic views await at every turn. Along the way, there’s an optional stop at a local argan oil cooperative, offering insight into traditional Moroccan craftsmanship.
Lunch will be served at the historic Agdz Kasbah, set amidst a serene palm oasis, providing a perfect spot to relax and recharge. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive through the lush Draa Valley, lined with majestic date palms.
Next, we visit the artisan village of Tamegroute, renowned for its exquisite ceramics that date back centuries. Explore the unique, partially underground Tamegroute Kasbah, still inhabited by local families, and, if interested, visit the ancient Koranic library, home to rare manuscripts.
By late afternoon or early evening, arrive at the tranquil Erg Lihoudi Desert Camp, with plenty of stops along the way for photos and refreshments. Your desert camp stay includes a traditional dinner under the stars and a hearty breakfast the following morning.
