Itinerary

Your adventure begins early in the morning as you depart from Marrakech and cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, stop to admire panoramic views, capture beautiful photos, and enjoy a Moroccan breakfast or a cup of mint tea in a small mountain café.

By mid-morning, arrive at the legendary Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Take your time to wander through its maze-like alleys or join an optional guided tour to uncover its fascinating history and cinematic legacy.

After a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, continue your journey towards the Dades Valley, passing through the film capital Ouarzazate, the palm groves of Skoura, and the fragrant Valley of Roses in Kalaat M’Gouna. Each stop reveals a new layer of Morocco’s diverse landscape and culture.

Reach the Dades Valley in the late afternoon, where you’ll be welcomed at your charming riad or guesthouse. Enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and spend the night surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the mountains and valleys.

After breakfast at your hotel in the Dades Valley, begin your journey along the legendary Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, a route lined with ancient fortresses, lush oases, and adobe villages that reflect Morocco’s rich heritage.

Arrive at the Tinghir Oasis, where a peaceful walk through the palm groves offers a glimpse into rural life and traditional farming methods. Continue to the spectacular Todgha Gorges, a natural wonder carved by the Todgha River, with towering cliffs rising more than 300 meters high. If you wish, take an optional short hike to fully experience the grandeur of this breathtaking canyon.

After lunch at a cozy café near the gorge, the adventure continues towards the Sahara Desert. Pass through Erfoud, the gateway to the desert and home to Morocco’s famous fossil workshops, then through Rissani, known for its vibrant market and historical significance as the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty.

By late afternoon, reach Merzouga, where your camel caravan awaits. Ride gently across the rolling Erg Chebbi dunes as the sun sets, painting the desert in shades of gold and crimson. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner by the campfire, and relax under a sky filled with millions of stars, a truly unforgettable Sahara experience.

Start your day with an early morning camel ride across the dunes, witnessing the breathtaking sunrise over Erg Chebbi. Return to the desert camp for a hearty breakfast and a moment to freshen up before continuing your journey.
